Recipe – Chicken and Mushroom Quiche

This is one of my random post about cookery and recipes (not that I have many). It’s that time of the year again when you’ll be asked to make yourself useful in the kitchen….in my case, contribute something edible that won’t end up poisoning or making people sick. Not that I suck badly in cooking, I am just a tad lazy these days. So my attempt at contributing for this Christmas ‘eat, drink and be merry session’ will be ‘Chicken and Mushroom Quiche’.

Quick fix meal on a lazy Saturday morning

Here’s what happened on one typical Saturday morning when I slept in and lazed a little longer in bed. I woke up rather late, thinking what I was going to have for breakfast. As it was a non-working day, I had no intention whatsoever of setting foot outside my homey surrounding to the nearest Kopitiam. That’s when I decided to whip up a very simple meal which was to become brunch for me and my 12 year-old niece.
