What’s this?! Looks like I’m on a music video hunt today.
I haven’t got Callin’s album yet but it’s already released. I’ll definitely review it on this blog when it’s available to me. The album is called ‘Hibi no Uta’ and it features the full ED song ‘Aishiteru’ for TV anime ‘Zoku Natsume Yuujin-chou. I found the song’s PV on Youtube and the full version is really lovely in a warm fuzzy way just like the anime that features it as the ED. The singer’s voice is amazing. I especially love the refrain part nearing the end.
The video ain’t much but the song is simply beautiful, imo.

Note: Quite a number of people have been requesting for the lyrics to this song. I finally found them. I don’t know how accurate is the English translation as I don’t have time to verify them but ya, you guys can check it out yourselves.
Aishiteru
Artist: 高鈴 Callin’
Lyrics – Kanji version

Yuna Ito’s Trust You PV is now out on rotation too…prior to the actual single release on Mar 4th, 2009. Watch the video if you want to check out how the full song sounds like. I kind of agree with those who said that the song’s meaning works well in the context of the relationships that’s playing out in Gundam 00 S2. The TV-sized version is just perfect for the ED animation sequence. The full version of the song though still beautiful, lose a little of the impact the anime version had. Yuna’s impressive and emotive vocals is the main strength for the song.

The PV for Kousuke Atari’s new song ‘Koi’ is out on rotation already. First time I heard the TV cut of the song, I thought it sounded somewhat similar to ‘Natsu Yuuzora’ especially bits of the melody on the starting verse. But getting to hear the full song from the PV, it’s much better than the shorter TV-sized version. I still think ‘Natsu Yuuzora’ is the better song. In case you’re wondering what TV anime features this song, let me tell you that it’s the ending theme for ‘Genji Monogatari Sennenki’, a series which I’m currently following. The actual ED single is slated to be out on Mar-11, 2009.
Meanwhile, watch the PV and listen to the song here:
UVERworld’s latest single will be released on the 19th of this month and their official PV is already playing everywhere on the music channels. If you’re a fan and haven’t yet caught it, here it is.
Relative newcomers to the J-music scene, 4-piece band flumpool’s forthcoming EP titled ‘Unreal’ is expected to be out on 19-Nov-2008. Their first major label mini album will include 8 vocal tracks and 2 instrumental tracks. ‘Hana ni Nare’ is the lead off single from the EP which was just released recently. Preview the single here. I love the song. The strings accompaniment sounds really good. More info on the EP is listed below.
And this is the PV for Hana ni Nare. Enjoy!
