Grumble, grumble plus some music updates…
I can’t believe I am having a bloody bad time trying to log in to my own blog and make this partially grumpy post…yes, you read right!!! And the bleeping internet connection is ridiculously slow…it has been for a few freaking days already. Well, you’ve some days when nothing seems to be working out smoothly and this is apparently the day for me. It must be one of those jinx days when you get simultaneous unwanted situations happening. Urrggh!!! Ok, nuff of that. Not going to dwell on it here because that’s not the sole reason for this post…music always saves the day…well, it eased the temper and cools the boiling blood…

OP AND ED SINGLES: UPCOMING RELEASES
4-Nov-2008

KWN announced that fans will be able the hear Keane’s latest album “Perfect Symmetry” in full when it is streamed online on Last.fm beginning Monday, 6-Oct. According to Keane’s official newsletter, they’ll be streaming the band’s commentary on the album’s tracks as well. Now, that’s definitely COOL! On top of that, fans can now pre-order the album from iTunes stores worldwide. So, check out your local iTunes store for the album.
Meh, I’m not likely to be in the UK when Keane starts their UK tour early next year. Fortunately, some friends of mine will be and I’ll be so jealous of them, bah. The best I can hope for is tons of live concert photos and reviews.
Anyway, those fans in the UK (and Ireland) will be delirious with joy (I think) when Keane unveils their live tour dates today. The dates are as follows:
JANUARY
23 – Belfast Odyssey
25 – Dublin The O2
27 - Newcastle Arena
29 – Glasgow SECC
31 – Manchester MEN Arena
FEBRUARY
1 – Nottingham Arena
3 – Bournemouth BIC
4 – Cardiff Arena
6 – Sheffield Arena
7 – Liverpool Echo Arena
9 – Plymouth Pavilions
10 – Brighton Centre
12 – London 02 Arena
As usual, exclusive pre-sale tickets are available via keanemusic.com and it will begin at 9am (UK time) on Thursday morning (Sept 25th) via the site shop here.
How nice! Guess I’ll just sit and wait for their new album (due out in Oct 13,2008) then.
Check out the Perfect Symmetry Album Cover. Very colourful isn’t it and ya, lots of triangles…(strange, triangular shapes seem to be popping up here & there…I blame it on Macross Frontier
