Hurray! The new MF movie trailer is up on YouTube and it isn’t as boring as the other promo one that I’ve seen. If you check out the vid, you can see footage of some new scenes that were included in said trailer. You can even hear snippets of Sheryl’s new song ‘Pink Monsoon’ (or summat like that) at the beginning. Yay, Brera has a new outfit and he looks mighty dash… *(^O^)*

MACROSS FRONTIER OST 2: NYAN TORA (PREVIEW)

Macross Frontier OST 2: Nyan Tora will be officially released in two days’ time i.e. 08-Oct-2008. What’s interesting is that *ahem* there was an apparent leak which allows some MF fans to preview the tracks ahead of time. I can tell you one thing though, after previewing the leaked version in its entirety, I have never been happier to pre-order my copy of the original CD weeks ago. It’s worth every penny invested!!! I just cut this clip/excerpt of ‘LION’ medley which in my mind is the best use of song for action sequence on this episode.  Reason: it included all my favourite scenes.  Enjoy!!!

Macross Frontier Ep.24: Ai, Oboeteimasuka?

The first thing that struck me while watching this episode is how eerily ethereal Ai Oboeteimasuka sounds like amidst the battles…so surreal and yet so mournful.  I knew I just had to cut a clip of that battle sequence with the song playing in the background.  It is hauntingly beautiful and brings out the bittersweet irony of the scenes that’s being animated.

Farewell Michel Blanc *Sob*

I’d completed reading ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ by Ken Follet last night whilst eagerly anticipating the raws for Macross Frontier’s latest episode.  I must add that the book is an awesome testimony to the art of story telling packed with lots of dramatic intrigue but nothing beats watching the latest episode of Macross Frontier titled Diamond Crevasse.  Bitch-slap and all, the series is really turning up the heat and firing on all cylinders heading towards the climax.
